bucket list

The phrase "bucket list" refers to a list of experiences, achievements, or goals that a person wants to accomplish or fulfill during their lifetime. It typically includes various activities, destinations, or ambitions that one desires to do before they die, as if checking off items from a metaphorical bucket before it is kicked, or died. The term became popularized after the release of the 2007 movie "The Bucket List" starring Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson, in which two terminally ill men create a list of things they want to do before they pass away.
