Lion's share

The phrase "lion's share" refers to the largest or majority portion of something. It is equivalent to getting the biggest or the most significant share in a distribution or allocation. The term originated from Aesop's fable, "The Lion's Share," where a lion cunningly takes the majority portion for itself, leaving less for the other animals involved.
