survival of the fittest
The phrase "survival of the fittest" is a concept coined by British scientist Charles Darwin in his theory of evolution. It describes the natural process by which certain individuals or species with advantageous traits and abilities are more likely to survive and reproduce successfully, therefore passing on those favorable traits to the next generation. In essence, those individuals who are most adapted to their environment and best suited to compete for resources have a higher chance of passing on their genes, while those less fit or poorly adapted are more likely to struggle or perish.
