The tip of the iceberg
"The tip of the iceberg" is a phrase used to describe a situation where only a small or visible portion of a much larger problem or issue is currently known or understood. It implies that there is much more beneath the surface that is yet to be discovered or revealed. Similar to an iceberg, which has most of its mass hidden underwater, there is a deeper, more significant aspect that is not immediately apparent or visible.
